But it’s not just on park that you can enjoy some time with your pup. There are plenty of dog friendly attractions in Cornwall and Devon for you and your four-legged friend to enjoy.

The Eden Project

The Eden Project shines a light on the relationship between plants and people and the fascinating insight into the story of mankind’s dependence on plant life. Not only a great dog friendly attraction in Cornwall but a great resource for education and knowledge towards a sustainable future. Dogs are welcome to explore the miles of outdoor paths at Eden however not allowed in the biomes or undercover areas so it’s a good idea to take turns looking after your pet while others explore the Biomes.

Lanceston Steam Railway

This enchanted railway takes you on a journey through the wonderful Cornish countryside. All trains are hauled by restored Victorian Steam locomotives. The line runs for two and a half miles through Kensey Valley along the old North Cornwall railway. And doggies travel for just 50p!

Cornwall at War Museum

The Cornwall At War Museum is dedicated to the Royal Navy, Army and RAF based in Camelford just a short drive from our Devon Holiday Park. There are 19 display buildings including new aircraft and military vehicle hangar. Keep an eye out for the animals at war display and many more surprises along the way. There is a childrens play area outside to keep the little ones entertained as you enjoy a drink and some scrumptious snacks. Well behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome at the Cornwall at War Museum with free entry.

The Milky Way Adventure Park

The Milky Way Adventure park has it all. This award-winning dog friendly attraction is pack full of exciting rollercoasters, dodgems, North Devon’s biggest indoor play area with assault courses and slides built for adults and kids! Sit back and watch the fabulous live shows featuring Merlin from Britain’s Got Talent as well as the great displays from the North Devon Bird of Prey Centre. This great all-weather attraction allows well behaved dogs entry. There are beautiful fields on either side of the park which are perfect for some dog walking whilst enjoy a family day out.

Bodmin and Wenford Railway

Discover the excitement and nostalgia attached to steam travel. Take a step back in time on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway, Cornwall’s only full-sized railway still operated by steam locomotives. Enjoy a leisurely 13-miles trip through stunning Cornish countryside, taking in the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone age. Buy a £1 Doggy ticket for some paws-on-the-floor travel. Dogs are welcome throughout the station and on board trains.

Lanhydrock House and GardensLanhydrock

The wooded estate around the main gardens and house of the National Trust’s Lanhydrock is a haven for dogs and their owners! Set out on walks along the river and around the wooded estate, although dogs are not permitted in the main garden, you can pick up maps for walks at the reception. On your return from your adventure, stop at the dog friendly Woods café which offers great baked goods and an excellent cup of tea.
