GOOD DOGS are welcome but must be kept under control at all times. Owners must clear up after their dog, therefore poop scoops are compulsory.
WE DO NOT wish to lay down hard and fast rules and regulations but we do ask that campers treat other holidaymakers and the site generally with respect. There is a 10mph speed limit throughout the site.
A DEPOSIT of approximately 10% must be sent with the camping booking form to ensure your reservation. Cheques to be made payable to Hedley Wood. Hedley Wood Touring/Camping Site Conditions
Note: we do not accept card payments at the present time, but we do have a cash machine in the shop.
We hire 6 – 8 berth static caravans that offer basic holiday accommodation at reasonable rates that reflect the age of our caravans and ability for us to allow well-behaved pets within our accommodation. All vans have fitted gas fires and cookers; additional heating is provided by way of electric plug-in heaters.
In line with the laid back atmosphere we wish our guests to experience on our family run and friendly site we do not wish to lay down hard and fast rules but we do ask that hirers treat our caravans, other holidaymakers and the site generally with respect and adhere to the hiring conditions below.
All caravans are equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Please bring with you:
• Towels & tea towels
• Pillows, sheets, duvets and covers (or alternatives)
• Protective bed coverings if needed for younger children
• Dog blanket or rug if you are bringing your pet
• £1.00 coins for the electric meter
Hiring Conditions
• Lettings commence at 2.00pm on the day of arrival and cease at 10.00am on the day of departure unless by special arrangement and run from Saturday to Saturday unless other booking arrangements have been made.
• Lettings must be taken up by 7.00pm unless prior arrangements have been arranged with us.
• Good dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times around the site unless on the dog walk or in the exercise field.
• Please do not allow your pet to on our beds or upholstery within the caravan and bring your own pet rug or blanket with you.
• Please do not leave dogs in the caravan unattended at any time.

• Holiday insurance is not provided with the hire of your caravan and we strongly advise that you obtain holiday cancellation insurance as refunds cannot be issued.
• The hirer is held responsible for any damage to the caravan and equipment breakages whilst in their possession. All damages and losses are chargeable.
• We ask all guests to adhere to a 10mph speed limit throughout the site.
